He joined Promus under its prior ownership in 2020 and co-leads the firm’s real estate platform, which includes Promus Realty and Promus Realty Properties. He is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, structuring, closing, and managing GP equity, JV equity, and co-investments across the real estate platform. \r\n\r\nBrett has more than 17 years of investment experience. Prior to Promus, he spent eight years at RDG Funds, serving as a Partner beginning in 2015. Before RDG, he was a member of the proprietary fixed-income trading group at Gelber Group and part of the Federal Trading team at Traditum Group. \r\n\r\nBrett earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is a registered member of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association and an honorary member of Rho Epsilon Student Real Estate Association at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He lives in Winnetka, Illinois, with his wife, Katie, and their three children.
